Dr. McShane
Dr. Natalie McShane
Owner and Lead Veterinarian

Dr. McShane graduated summa cum laude from St. George’s University in 2014. Originally from right outside of NYC, Dr. McShane did her clinical year rotations at NC State and decided to
make North Carolina her home.

Dr. McShane was originally set to go to law school when she took a job as a receptionist at Larchmont Animal Hospital with Dr. Donna Walsh-Fullerton during her junior year of college. She fell in love with veterinary medicine and with Dr. Fullerton’s guidance and mentorship, she decided to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian. Since graduation, Dr. McShane has worked in small animal general practice and loves creating bonds with not only her patients but their families. She is so excited to be opening East Side Animal Hospital and bringing a new level of personalized, exceptional care to the area.

Her professional interests include dermatology, preventative care, senior pet care, and dentistry. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband Lee, their sons Liam and James, and their 3 rescue dogs Cliffy (“TeeTee”), Bob, and Lars.

Jordan started working as a veterinary assistant in 2021, but her love for animals started when she was a child. She has worked in general practice, as well as emergency. She is CPR and Fear Free certified. In her free time, she loves to travel and attend sporting events and concerts. She has three dogs (Gabby, Dabo, and Ivy) and a cat (Bentley), who she describes as her children. Go Tigers!
